What we process
We process the minimum data needed to run the site, moderate comments, protect the admin area, and answer chatbot requests.
Server logs may include IP address, timestamp, request path, user agent, and error details for security and troubleshooting.
When you submit a public comment, we store the name and message you provide together with the publication date.
When you interact with the passage reaction buttons on an article, your selections are stored locally in your browser and are not currently sent to our server.

We do not currently run analytics, advertising, or profiling cookies on the public site.
External media
Embedded media from providers such as YouTube, Apple Podcasts, or Castopod is blocked by default.
If you enable external media, those providers may receive your IP address and may set their own cookies according to their policies.
You can withdraw or change that choice at any time through the cookie settings button in the top bar or the banner.
Legal basis
Essential storage is used because it is necessary to operate the site securely and to remember your privacy choice.
External media is loaded only after your consent.
Comments and security logs are processed on the basis of legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, subject to moderation and retention limits.
Your choices
You can refuse non-essential media, change your cookie preference later, or avoid loading third-party content by using the direct external links instead of embeds.
You may also request deletion of a comment you submitted by contacting the address above and identifying the comment clearly.
